Walter Tumbaco | Managing Partner 

Walter is a business advisor with  over 25 years of experience in the provision of International Tax Consulting, M&A and Internal audit services.  He has held leading roles in various multinational companies such as Ecuador Bottling Company Corp. (Coca-Cola), KPMG, Romero & Asociados, Ernst & Young and Diario El Universo. Currently he is the Managing Partner of LAS, the Ecuador member firm of LATAXNET - Latin America Tax & Legal Network.

Walter is currently vice-president of the Board of Directors of Alliance Academy International.

2002 - 2004
He leads the financial and tax practices of LAS, advising a wide range of clients including multinational corporations as well as local businesses, focusing on the implementation of regional solutions for the firm’s international clients. 

Current: He has been leading the financial and tax practices of Legal Advisor Solution Ltd., advising a range of clients including multinational corporations as well as local businesses, focusing on the implementation of regional solutions for the firm’s international clients. He also became a member of the International Tax network of LATAXNET during this period.

2004 -2009
He worked at Ecuador Bottling Company Corp. (Coca-Cola), in the financial department as an Internal Auditor, Controller and Financial Director.  

1992-2001
He was the partner in charge of the tax, legal and financial services practice of Romero & Asociados, at the time the Ecuador member firm of Ernst & Young. At E&Y, Walter built and led a team of 60 professionals with diverse professional backgrounds.  

1990-1991
Walter was the General Auditor of El Universo, the largest newspaper in Ecuador. He was in charge of the development, implementation and supervision of the company’s administrative policies and procedures. He reported directly to the board of directors.
